Lavar Scott competed in the 2025 ARCA Menards Series driving the No. 6 car for Rev Racing, finishing the season second in the championship standings. Building on that momentum, Scott earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2024 while also closing the season second in points, underscoring his rapid rise and consistency at the national level.

Lavar began racing at Blackbird Speedway at just five years old in Quarter Midgets. During his time in Quarter Midgets, he collected more than 50 wins across multiple divisions including Jr. Honda, Jr. Stocker, Light 160, and World Formula. As his experience grew, he moved into the 125cc Micro Sprint division at Airport Speedway, where he secured two victories and finished second in the points championship.

At the age of 13, Lavar advanced to the 600cc division and quickly made history as the youngest driver to win at Airport Speedway. That season included four wins, highlighted by victories at Hamlin Speedway and the World Championship of Dirt Racing at Selinsgrove Speedway. Over three full seasons racing a 600cc Micro Sprint, Lavar recorded 15 wins across New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.

In 2020, Lavar relocated to North Carolina to pursue his racing career full time and was accepted into NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program with Rev Racing. That year, he competed in the Legends division at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Summer Shootout, finishing the season with two podiums, two top-five finishes, and three top-ten results.

In 2021, Lavar transitioned into full-body stock car racing, competing in Late Models at tracks across the region. He opened the season with a third-place finish at Hickory Motor Speedway and went on to earn six top-three finishes, five top-five finishes, and a victory at Hickory on September 11.

In 2022, Lavar continued his development competing in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series with Rev Racing, further refining his racecraft and consistency.

Off the track, Lavar is passionate about connecting with youth, sharing his journey, offering encouragement, and inspiring the next generation to believe in their potential and pursue their dreams.
